"Faceless Portraits" is a series I started in 2010 with the idea of placing the human form into non-discript scenery to display its strength and its re-action to forces unseen.
The body's movement in some images or its stillness in others leads the viewer to question what is moving toward the subject and why in some cases is it being repelled from it...?
My motivation is to question the human spirit's willingness to embrace or reject its surroundings while using the human body and its fluidity to demonstrate these ever moving and always present external forces, or winds.
